Whether children should be allowed to do paid work or not is a very sensitive issue and a hot topic of debate. Some work out of their will and some are forced to work. It varies. Many university and college students do part time jobs for varied reasons, like, to support their families, to gain work experience, for some extra pocket money. Part time jobs are a great helping hand in making children realize the value of money, time, and hard work. You get exposed to the work environment at a young age and get experienced too. The most common part time job which students do is become a part time tutor. It helps them gain experience in teaching which helps at later stages of life while applying for a full-time job.
These are the students who are privileged and work part time for experience. But many are forced to work full time at minimum wages to merely survive. Such children are socially exploited, exposed to chemicals in factories, lift loads and do other odd jobs in order to be able to eat 2 meals a day. They have no other choice.
On the other hand, in many countries, children work during their summer and winter breaks. These children not only learn the value of their own earned money but value the hard earned money of their parents too, not taking it for granted. They are willing to work hard, manage their time and budget better.
But whether engaging in different kinds of paid work is in beneficial for children or not depends on the circumstances. When paid work takes the form of child labor, it can’t be approved as children are mistreated, poorly paid and denied education. on the other hand, it can prove to be a valuable work experience for others.

These jobs do not provide any valid experience to gain them in the future. Constant job holders do not have enough time to obtain adequate knowledge. Though there is massive development in research & technology, there are some children who are completely unaware of their surrounding things which are happening.
