The objective of citing this quote is to enlighten the minds of people regarding the vast number of opportunities they get in life. It simply states removing all the barriers and opening windows of opportunities for oneself. People generally consider education as the means to acquire knowledge and livelihood. However, education is not just limited to this, it has, even more, broader prospects. Education not only makes us knowledgeable but also helps us to evolve and makes us self-content.

Many great authors have described education as a means to bring change in the people and evolve nation positively. From past examples, we can say that people who have a good education and were well-developed brought great revolutions in society and helped the nation to prosper.

Turning mirrors into windows cannot be accomplished in a day. It is a slow process, however, it yields fruitful results. A mirror is something that reflects what is already there in front of it, however, windows give us a greater view of things we are not aware of and thus helps us expand our boundaries. In other words, windows make us understand that we need to think out of the box and not just see what is in front of us. So, education is a tool that helps us reach beyond our horizons.

So it’s high time for everyone to understand that education is not just confined to getting good marks and gaining knowledge, but real education is something that helps an individual make use of all opportunities and become a successful person in the area of his own interest.

Everyone has got different goals so a student must be given an opportunity to pursue in his field of interest rather than choosing courses like engineering or medical which are considered more respectable by society. Society actually kills our talent and makes us dormant, so we must not care about this society and should choose the path we are interested in. This is how we can turn the mirrors into windows and become successful in life.
