Sample Solution 1 –
This image represents the structure of a Hydroelectric Dam. There is a water reservoir at one side of the dam where they stored. The water is taken from the intake and through the penstock, it leads to the turbine and rotates it. The turbine is connected to the generator where electricity is generated. The powerhouse where the generator is located also has power lines to distribute the electricity through the long distances. The water that comes out of the turbine is released in the river.

Sample Solution 2 –
The diagram shows how electricity is generated by a hydroelectric dam. Firstly, water trapped in the reservoir behind the dam is forced through an intake and flows via penstock into the turbine. The turbine is connected to a generator in the powerhouse and helps to convert into electricity. The resulting electricity leaves the powerhouse via cables that carry it over long distances to where it can be used. To conclude, the process is renewable and thanks to the water cycle in nature.
